LBR just got notice that our projects won the top two awards from the Oklahoma Asphalt Pavement Association for Airports!

The winner was a Stillwater Regional Airport project to Rehabilitate Runway 4-22 that was constructed by Haskell Lemon Construction Co.

The runner-up was a Durant Regional Airport–Eaker Field project to Rehabilitate and Extend Runway 17-35 constructed by Overland Corporation

LBR now has the top two asphalt awards to go along with the top concrete award from this year! It is exciting to get recognition for some great projects. They were successful due to the hard work of the airport and city staff, along with the great work from the contractors.

Vinita Municipal was one of only three Oklahoma Airports to receive supplemental funding in FY-19. This additional funding, appropriated by Congress, paid for 100% of the cost of the runway rehabilitation project ($1,050,000). The existing asphalt portion of the runway was overlaid. Take a look at the before and after photos of the project. The after photos were taken by LBR's Part 107 licensed drone operator. These photos are 4K quality, and really show the dramatic improvement to the airport.
