The Color Pink Project

At the event this past Saturday, a friend of mine gave me this bracelet as she sat down to put on her jewelry. Which, even in that detail, she must have been in a hurry to get there on time than being concerned with putting on her jewelry…(it’s the little things for me)

I’m watching her put on bracelets, with ooohs and ahhhs about her— form of art and I saw this pink and white one…the colors were soft and a hue of pink that drew me in. “Oooh that’s beautiful”…she slides it off her arm and gives it to me. “Here you can have it”. As she handed it to me, I noticed the charm, the breast cancer ribbon that sat inside of a heart.

Alignment—at this event where my art was being displayed for the first time with a team/community of people that put this all together, I would receive a reminder of one of my most favorite, life changing photo projects….

With this exhibit, it put a light in me that I am closer to it coming into fruition. It sparked my motivation and put a battery in my back. Helped me believe it was possible and tangible again. A story with quite a few layers of lessons and stories that I can’t wait to share.

Life went left, I “fell”, found solutions by surrendering to flow and faith, and it still led me here. I didn’t know how…and I still don’t lol, but that’s the magic of it all…trusting the process.
