You don’t need a new branch to expand into new territory.
Financial institutions can use SuperATMs — ATMs connected directly to the banking core — to establish mini-branches in areas where new branch builds aren’t feasible. With core connectivity, these ATMs unlock enhanced transactions and deliver nearly full in-branch experiences, without the cost of brick-and-mortar expansion.
What about when account holders at these SuperATMs want help from a teller? Interactive teller machine (ITM) capability is the solution. It combines excellent self-service experiences with live video teller support on demand. Remote tellers can manage multiple ITMs from one central location, meaning you can open several SuperATM locations and provide teller support to all of them efficiently.
Want to explore how the SuperATM model works and whether SuperATMs and ITM technology make sense for your institution?

Somewhere, right now, a hidden device is recording a customer’s ATM pin.
You should ensure that your staff is up-to-date on the signs of ATM skimming, and you will want to deploy the latest anti-skimming tech solutions to limit the risk of this happening to your machines.
Here’s a reminder of some common ATM skimming signs to look for:
Card Reader Clues
• The card reader looks loose, crooked, or bulkier than normal
• Fresh adhesive or residue is visible around the slot
• Card insertion feels tight or forced
PIN Pad and Fascia Warning Signs
• Raised or oversized PIN buttons that don’t match the usual keypad
• Tape, glue, or mismatched panels that look tampered with
• Odd attachments or mismatched plastic that don’t belong on the machine
Hidden Cameras
• Tiny pinholes above or around the keypad
• Out-of-place objects nearby (like brochure holders, light fixtures, or panels) that may conceal cameras
• Always compare the ATM to a reference picture if available to spot differences
• Check behind you, since some cameras may be placed nearby rather than on the ATM itself
Now, what about technological solutions that can reduce skimming risk? We offer the Skimming Protection Solution (SPS) and Tamper Detect Card Reader (TDCR), two devices that make for a solid anti-skimming defense when used in tandem.

Looking ahead to the future, branches are not going away, but they are taking on a different role.
Account holders now expect to handle routine transactions quickly through self-service, while staff time is shifting toward advice, problem-solving, and deeper relationships.
That change is reshaping the design of branches. Interactive teller machines and cash recyclers are contributing to streamlined operations, and institutions are building spaces around advice and consultation rather than simple transactions.
The branch is becoming a hub for connection and financial education, powered by technology that frees the staff to do their best work serving people.
