New Year, New WIP

Well, here we go again—I don't know why I keep doing this to myself!

Let me start by saying I’m not a huge fan of Salvino’s JR. They had a real opportunity to release some truly kick-ass kits, but instead, they gave us this.

Now, full disclosure: I didn’t actually buy this kit. A friend of mine, who loves the car but doesn’t have the time to build it, gave it to me. So I’m building it for them.

This project will be Neil Bonnett’s 1977 #5 Stacy Dodge Charger. It's not just a work-in-progress (WIP); it’s also kind of a review of these kits that Salvino’s has the audacity to charge $50 for.

Am I a hater? Probably. But I’d argue that offering constructive criticism isn’t the same as hating. That said, anyone in the modeling community knows Salvino’s seems to think they can do no wrong.

So, with that in mind—let’s dive in!
