It sounds good on piano too.

Imagine how "basic" Sattiani's Flying in a blue dream would have been if Satriani didnt change one note (from 4 to 4 #) and used lydian mode.
But it might have been even nicer if the bass was not in C but in E.
I usually try to sing solos but now i tried to imagine just for few seconds how the song would sound if we have E in bass instead of C (trying to keep as much as possible from all other notes from the original).
Let me know what do you think and if you like it, I might play the entire song with different chords.

After Vai, we are trying to sing a Satriani solo :)
