Good points from Revitalize, or Die.regarding vacant properties.

Vacant property doesn’t just look bad.

It increases crime. Depresses property values. Diminishes the tax base. Repels investors, tenants, and tourists. Breeds apathy.

And here’s the part nobody wants to say out loud: there is absolutely no reason any community should ever suffer from it.

You have the legal authority to do something about it. Most towns just choose not to.

🎸 1PM - 4PM | Rock’n Riverwalk (Riverwalk Stage): Cap off the day with a free concert by Surfin Rascals playing your favorite Beach Boys hits!

Join us at the Court House Cultural Center for an enchanting evening of music featuring "The Elegant Cello" with acclaimed cellist Ashley Garritson, principal cello of the Miami City Ballet and a member of our own Atlantic Classical Orchestra.

Ashley will be joined by Dr. Marie Jureit-Beamish to perform beloved cello works made famous by Julian Lloyd Webber, offering a captivating musical journey that celebrates the beauty and versatility of the cello.
