City Ordinance 2380-2018
It’s fertilizer blackout season in the City of Stuart. That means no fertilizers containing Nitrogen or Phosphorus may be applied from June 1 through November 30 each year.
Why it matters: Fertilizer runoff fuels harmful algae blooms that threaten our rivers, lagoons, and local wildlife. Let’s keep Stuart’s waterways clean—together!
⚠Also Prohibited: Illegal dumping of paint, used motor oil, yard waste, trash, or any other pollutants into storm drains, ditches, ponds, lakes, streams, or waterways. 📞 Report violations: Call the City hotline at 772-600-1260
