Do you know what makes you irresistible to your potential clients?
It may not always be about what you say or what qualifications you hold.
It’s about understanding the why behind your magnetism.
Yesterday, a client witnessed the power of perfectly aligned messaging when a prospect showed up to the initial meeting ready to sign up.
The prospect had gone through the advisor's funnel, stayed on the email list for 8 weeks, and signed her agreement to work with my advisor on the discovery call.

😬 Desperation isn’t a good look for anyone!
The beauty of inbound digital marketing is that it brings the prospects to you. 🧲
It allows them to move through the journey of finding an advisor at their own pace 🏃♀versus you constantly reaching out via phone (which, by the way, isn’t scalable).
Inbound marketing works for advisors because it is far less invasive, less threatening, and adds overall value 🤑for your prospect along the way.
The informative nature allows you to stay engaged with your prospects and earn their trust through sharing your expertise and resources. 💻
Where traditional sales focuses on closing the deal, content marketing operates under the premise of adding value.
The best way to “sell” a prospect as a financial advisor is by not being salesy.

Client: “What kind of outcomes can we expect from digital marketing?”
Me: “Depends how well you follow our recommendations.
Am I right to say that your own outcome is to get you to be #1 in your field?
So if you follow our recommendations and stick to it, we can both be working on the same thing together. “
And if you do nothing…..

PS Our clients are signing an average of 18+ new clients a year… with just one new client in many cases paying our entire marketing fee for the whole year!

Did you know that NOT sending enough emails could HURT you?
Take this advisor, we’ll call her Sarah, who received an alert from Keap that her email capabilities had been disabled 😱.
Why?
She had a 6.5% complaint rate in 30 days (double 😱😱).
[It is generally accepted that spam complaint rates over 0.1% (1 complaint per 1000 unique email addresses sent per provider) are excessive.
Note: This metric is tracked per email provider and not as global rate.]
BUT!!!!! This 6.5% was only from 4 complaints.
You see, when you ARE NOT emailing WEEKLY, and only sending out 184 emails to 77 contacts, 4 complaints looks like a whole lot more than is acceptable.
So, if anything….today’s post is your weekly reminder that being consistent with your email marketing and constantly working to build up your email list are paramount—not just to generate new leads to turn into clients, but so you don’t get 🐓blocked by your own email marketing program!
