Matt Mitchell captured the 2026 SCGA Mid-Amateur Championship, earning the title along with exemptions into the 2026 California Amateur and 2026 SCGA Amateur Championship, plus a 10-year exemption into this tournament. After opening with a 74, he bounced back with a championship-low, 65, in the second round and finished with an even-par performance to secure a two-shot victory. 🏆

SCGA Team Play dates back to 1900 and includes more than 230 clubs and 800 participants each year. These final 64 teams have qualified for the final brackets after playing six home and away matches in what is one of the SCGA's most popular programs. When all is said and done, we'll crown two group winners and one overall champion.
