The Roxbury Woman's Club

Our club was very pleased that so many came to our club's GARAGE SALE on June 28th and were deeply grateful to all who kindly donated in support of the facilities that we happily continue to support!

Recently, club members Susan, Phyllis and Judy M. spent the morning stuffing backpacks for elementary and middle school students as well as college students. Thanks to Jensi, an intern working with Deirdre's House for helping. These backpacks will be distributed to Deirdre's House clients. (Don't worry, the H.S. students weren't forgotten! Another team of volunteers was scheduled for the next day!)
Many of the school supplies and backpacks were collected at our recent town-wide school supply collection held at the Library.

Deirdre's House, the NJ Children's Alliance Center in Morris County, provides services for children and teens who are victims of abuse and/or neglect and for children who have witnessed violence.
