We are so proud of our youth for leading today's Takeover Sunday Service with confidence, unity, and excellence. You reminded us that the next generation is not waiting to become leaders—they are leaders right now.

Keep shining.Keep growing.Keep trusting God.
Keep being unapologetically YOU.

Because through every challenge, every victory, and every season of life, remember this truth:

YOU ARE ENOUGH, because God made you enough.

The Darrin L. Thorpe scholarship committee will be accepting applicant essays from those who will be entering into their first year of college. Essays will be accepted beginning now until July 30th.

The Darrin L. Thorpe scholarship was started by our Apostle Dr. Brenda T. Parrish in remembrance of her son the late Darrin L. Thorpe Sr. First year college students have been awarded scholarships since 2016.

Darrin was a supporter of youth and was known as one who loved to help others and give. He literally gave the shoes off of his feet to someone who needed them.

Those who are interested can submit an essay stating why you deserve the scholarship and include evidence of college acceptance. Please send via email to [email protected].

The scholarship will be awarded in September during our 9:45 a.m. morning service. You must be in attendance to receive the scholarship. Please share!!
