Some days you might feel like you're never going to make it.
That feeling of overwhelm overtakes you. It's ok. Pause. Give yourself grace. Take a break, but then keep taking steps every day. Even if it seems like there are more steps than you think you can ever take. You can still keep going.
It's ok to accomplish some and be ok with not arriving at all. Getting there isn't about running so fast you collapse.
Hope this little post helps you. I needed to remind myself.

"The Richest Man in Babylon" by George S. Clason is a great book that offers timeless financial wisdom through parables set in ancient Babylon. Here are some key lessons:
1. Pay Yourself First: The book emphasizes the importance of saving and investing a portion of your income before paying expenses. By prioritizing saving, you can build wealth over time and achieve financial security.
2. Live Within Your Means: Clason advocates for living below your means and avoiding unnecessary debt. By practicing frugality and budgeting wisely, you can accumulate wealth and avoid financial stress.
3. Invest Wisely: The book provides guidance on investing wisely to grow your wealth. Clason advises diversifying your investments, seeking out opportunities for passive income, and avoiding speculative ventures.
4. Take Calculated Risks: While caution is important, Clason also encourages taking calculated risks in pursuit of financial growth. By carefully assessing opportunities and managing risk, you can achieve greater returns on your investments.
5. Avoiding Get-Rich-Quick Schemes: Clason warns against the dangers of get-rich-quick schemes and offers a reminder that wealth is built through discipline, patience, and hard work over time.
6. Seeking Knowledge: The book emphasizes the importance of lifelong learning and seeking out financial education. By continually expanding your knowledge of money management and investing, you can make informed decisions and achieve greater success.
7. The Power of Compound Interest: Clason highlights the power of compound interest in growing wealth over time. By starting early and allowing your investments to compound, you can achieve significant financial growth over the long term.
8. Taking Responsibility for Your Finances: The book encourages readers to take responsibility for their financial situation and to actively work towards building wealth. By adopting a proactive approach to money management, you can take control of your financial future.
9. Generosity and Charity: Clason also emphasizes the importance of generosity and giving back to others. By sharing your wealth and helping those in need, you can experience greater fulfillment and contribute to the well-being of society.
10. The Importance of Persistence: Finally, the book underscores the importance of persistence and perseverance in achieving financial success. By staying focused on your goals and overcoming obstacles along the way, you can ultimately achieve your dreams of wealth and abundance.
Overall, "The Richest Man in Babylon" offers timeless lessons on money management, investing, and wealth building that remain relevant and valuable today. By following the principles outlined in the book, readers can achieve financial freedom and create a life of abundance and prosperity.
