What Did I See At The Inspection Today?!??!

How 'bout wasp nests blocking the functionality of the range vent. Glad these were not occupied. By the way, all vent exhaust outlets covers are required to have a screen with a maximum spacing of 1/4 inch. Obviously, this one didn't have the screen which would prevent pest entry.

What Did I See At The Inspection Today?!?!

Can you saw Asbestos siding? Yup, there was asbestos on this house, which was common for the time it was built. It is known hazardous in a particulate state. It is not harmful it if is just attached to the house. Don't sand it, break it, chip it, etc. That will create the particles that are hazardous. What Did I See At The Inspection Today?!?!

Well today, it was a complete remodel of a 1960 home to bring it to modern condition including electrical, plumbing, roofing, and foundation. Okay, but what did you see???

They did a nice job on the house, but they forgot to put any insulation in the attic!!! WHAT!???
