Indvidual Tournament results:
4-1 Aidan Gutierrez, placed 3rd
2-2 , Joe Sonnier

Duals Results:

Joe and Aidan both wrestled in classes 20lbs heavier and wrestled in multiple weight classes in different duals

Aidan went 3-3 in 160+,
Joe 125lb went 1-0, 135lb went 2-2, and 145lb went 1-0

A short prayer
God, keep me safe
Keep my opponent safe

Because wrestling is intense
It’s physical
It’s unforgiving

But it’s still a game

No medal
No ranking
No win

Is worth someone getting hurt
Or losing sight of who they are

You can wrestle with violence
And still compete with humility

You can fight hard
And still care deeply

Belief matters more than results
Character matters more than points

When the whistle blows
You give full effort

When it ends
You shake hands
And you’re thankful you both walk off

That perspective
Is what keeps the sport pure

Wrestle hard
Pray harder
And never forget what actually matters
