Summit Softball & Baseball League

Join us in celebrating the start of the 2026 SSBL Softball and Baseball spring season at our Opening Day event this Saturday, 4/11!
Location: Memorial - Myrtle Field

- 9:45am: Arrive at park: All teams (Coaches/Players) should be dressed in their team uniforms.
- 10am: Parade Walk
- 10:30am: National Anthem
- 10:45am: Ceremonial First Pitch of the Season: Duke Baxter and Julia Blarr of Zoned Sports Academy

After the Opening Day ceremonies
- GRIT Performance will be conducting fun speed and agility drill training for all kids.
- Zoned Sports will be conducting a FREE coaches clinic for all coaches.
- Youth Umpires: For those who still need equipment, equipment will be available for pick-up. For those interested in preparing fields, there will be a short tutorial.

Food: Mr Chi & KONA Ice Truck will be available from 10am-12pm

9am – 11am
Collecting:
- Bikes
- Baseball Equipment: helmets, bats, gloves
- Softball Equipment: helmets, bats, gloves, fielding masks
- Lacrosse Equipment: helmets, goggles, pads, sticks
All proceeds go to the Summit High School Baseball Program

We’re excited to share some great shots from our inaugural 3rd/4th Grade Rec Softball assessments this past Saturday.

A big thank-you to everyone who came out and to all the volunteers who helped make it such a success. These assessments were incredibly helpful as we held our draft on Sunday, and team formation for all softball divisions is now nearly complete.
