Our Meet the Artist New Play Readings series is back! Every Wednesday in May, we'll be presenting staged readings of new plays in development. The series provides audiences an opportunity to experience new shows and participate in discussions with playwrights, directors and actors. Audience members will also provide valuable feedback to be used in the development of the play.

This year's readings are:

🖊️ Harm Reduction by Elizabeth Irwin -- 5/27 at 7pm

All readings will take place at the Summit Community Center.

Join us and Interweave for a reading of Pretty Fire in honor of Martin Luther King Jr Day.

Charlayne Woodard’s autobiographical play chronicles her African-American family's experiences through three generations. The reading of this NAACP award-winning play provides an opportunity to reflect on the challenges that still exist in our society while celebrating one woman’s personal triumphs.

PRETTY FIRE is an enthralling celebration of life that takes the audience on a universal journey through a world in which the family bond is as strong as steel.

No tickets are necessary; all are welcome.
