Hi everyone! 👋🌊

We’re so excited to introduce ourselves as the owners of Ohana Swim LLC — a proud Swim Life™ lesson provider serving families in Northwest Florida and beyond!

👋 We’re Coach Ashley and Coach Phil, husband and wife, parents of three, and passionate advocates for water safety.

Our journey with Swim Life™ began years ago while we were stationed in Okinawa, Japan. All three of our children completed the Swim Life™ program before the age of two, and it completely changed the way we viewed swim lessons and water safety.

Coach Ashley trained in Okinawa to become an instructor and Coach Phil followed a few years later while active duty AF. We now have over ten years of teaching experience combined!

Fast forward to today — we now call Destin, Florida home where ouR kiddos keep us busy with homeschooling, beach days, and what we lovingly call “organized chaos” filled with white sand adventures and travel. ☀️🏝️

🏊‍♀️ In 2025, we officially launched Ohana Swim LLC.

We remain an active Swim Life™ survival-oriented lesson provider, offering:

✔️ Survival-focused swim lessons

✔️ Stroke development

✔️ Adult lessons

✔️ Special needs instruction

✔️ Ongoing refresher courses

👴👶🏼We teach ages 6 months through adulthood because we believe water safety is for everyone!

🩵This will be our 5th summer teaching in Sumter South Carolina and were so happy to be going back!

🎉 Our most exciting news: We now offer lessons in Fort Walton Beach, Destin AND Santa Rosa beach as we call the beautiful Emerald Coast HOME 🏠

🏊 Our ultimate goal is to continue growing — expanding into additional aquatic certifications and partnerships while remaining rooted in high-quality, survival-based instruction.

We are forever learning and evolving, both personally and professionally and it has been a joy to do this alongside so many incredible families.
