Sumter High School Gamecocks

The Sumter High School family mourns the loss of assistant basketball coach Trevino Hall.

Coach Hall was far more than a coach. He was a devoted husband, father, mentor, and a pillar of the Sumter community. Over his four years on our coaching staff and in the Sumter Splash AAU program, he invested in the lives of countless young people, leaving an impact that will continue for generations.

Known across South Carolina for his passion for the game, Coach Hall loved basketball. If there was a game being played, chances are he was there. He brought joy wherever he went with his sense of humor, genuine spirit, and willingness to help every player he coached.

While his time with us was far too short, his influence will last a lifetime. The lessons he taught, the relationships he built, and the lives he touched will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Coach Hall’s wife, children, family, friends, athletes, and everyone whose life he impacted.

Rest easy, Coach Hall. Your Gamecock family will miss you, but your legacy will forever be a part of Sumter Basketball.
