As promised, here are a few behind-the-scenes photos from creating the book cover! 😊

For the circular cover image, I flipped our 30-inch foyer mirror onto a large white backdrop and arranged the minis around it. I had to redo it several times because I couldn’t get the circle symmetrical 😅. Then I climbed a step ladder and stretched my arm as far as possible to get a full overhead shot. After about 3-4 hours, I finally got the picture! Only later did I notice the love potion bottle was slightly out of place (can you spot it? 😆).

For the 100 collage, I ordered 3-foot cardboard numbers and arranged the minis on top. It felt like putting together a giant puzzle! Here’s a little secret: I only used one 0. I photographed two different sets of minis on the same number and combined the images later to create the final 100. 😁

This was definitely the most ambitious book cover I’ve created, but I’m so glad I tried something different. It was challenging, frustrating at times, and a lot of fun all at once!
