❤️ A Full Circle Moment ❤️

This week, as we welcomed campers for the first week of summer camp, my heart was full.

Years ago, this student first walked through the doors of my little in-home studio as a shy and quiet 6-year-old, but with a passion for music that shined through from the very beginning. 🎶

I still remember those early lessons, the tiny hands learning their first notes, the nervous smiles, the small victories, and the years of growth that followed.

Today, that same student is no longer the little child who came for lessons. They have grown into a wonderful young person and are now helping me at summer camp, encouraging and supporting younger students who are just beginning their own musical journeys.

Moments like these remind me why I do what I do.

As teachers, we hope to make a difference in our students’ lives. But sometimes, our students leave an even greater impact on ours.

Thank you for letting me be a small part of your journey. Watching you grow from a quiet little musician into a confident young leader has been one of the greatest joys and privileges of my career. ❤️

And just like that, another generation of musicians begins.
