Today is Stop the Bleed Day 💓
A reminder that bystanders can play a critical role in saving a life during a bleeding emergency.
If you encounter life-threatening bleeding:
• Call 911 immediately
• Apply firm, direct pressure to the wound
• Use a dressing and continue pressing firmly
• Apply a tourniquet if necessary
Quick action before first responders arrive can make all the difference. Learn the skills. Be prepared to help save a life.
