The Grand Strand is now under a TROPICAL STORM WARNING, with winds forecast to be 50mph. Bands of heavy rain are expected Friday afternoon.

The National Weather Service has issued a TROPICAL STORM WARNING for coastal Horry and Georgetown Counties.

Debbie came ashore in Florida as a Cat 1 Hurricane, but has since been downgraded to a Tropical Storm. She is still threatening the Grand Strand with a potential of 20 inches of rain.

We'll start to see the rain moving in this afternoon.
