Gem 1910-S Saint Gaudens Double Eagle NGC MS65

Although more than 2.1 million twenty dollar gold pieces were manufactured at San Francisco in 1910, it is believed that only 9,500 or so examples survive, mostly from holdings repatriated from Europe, and Central and South America. Many of the survivors are found in bags marked AU and low-end Mint State grades. MS65 examples without significant marks and an above-average strike are few and far between.
