When planning your wedding, it’s important to consider rain, wind, and other weather contingencies at your DREAM VENUE.

CEREMONY
• Will the Plan B ceremony be in a different location?
• Is the florist prepared with alternate decor?
• Where will the DJ or musicians be positioned if there is even potential for rain and they require shelter?
• How does the venue manage ant hills and mosquitoes due to rainy weather?

COCKTAIL HOUR
• Where is the Plan B location?
• If in the reception hall, have all vendors been secured for enough time to set up prior to the cocktail hour start time rather than the typical reception start time?
• What is the power source option at the Plan B location?
• What is the music option at the Plan B location?
• Is there shelter in case of the possibility of rain?
• Will apps and drinks be delayed due to any flipping during this time?


RECEPTION
• Where is the Plan B reception?
• Do you have table or seating assignments mapped out for your Plan B?

As you begin designing your wedding for next year, collaborate with your Florist and Planner to identify which decor/floral items can be repurposed. Discuss this earlier in the process! It will save you $$$ and allows your vendor teams to coordinate behind the scenes to make sure there is enough man power to make happen!
