Hearts Against Hunger

We have a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference by volunteering to pack food boxes for local food-insecure households. This is a flexible, impactful way for individuals, families, or community organizations to give back and support their neighbors in need.
By dedicating just about an hour of your time, you can help assemble nourishing, well-rounded food boxes that will be distributed to local families. The boxes can contain a variety of shelf-stable staple items like rice, beans, canned vegetables, pasta, and more - the basic building blocks to prepare simple, wholesome meals.
This volunteer work is needed all throughout the summer, so you can choose a time that fits your schedule, whether that's a morning, afternoon, or evening shift. It's a fantastic chance to get the whole family involved in community service, teaching children the value of compassion and empowering them to make a tangible difference in people's lives. Plus, it's a rewarding, hands-on way to give back and ensure our community's most vulnerable members have access to the sustenance they require.
