Military Friends Foundation

One of the best parts of Sail Boston was seeing the incredible variety of ships from around the world gathered in Boston Harbor. Every vessel was impressive in its own way, making it nearly impossible to choose a favorite. Still, Ecuador's BAE Guayas left a lasting impression. As she sailed past, crew members waved to us from the rigging and the ship's band filled the harbor with music from the stern. The warm welcome from the crew was a perfect example of what Sail Boston is all about: bringing people together through hospitality, shared traditions, and a love of the sea.
