‼️Mini-Stock Nationals Recap‼️
This weekend we had the pleasure of taking the trip to Carteret County Speedway to compete in the annual Mini-Stock Nationals. Friday, open practice started with a huge blow to our team. The motor in the #46 car expired before even getting to run real laps. Not letting that get us down, all focus moved to the #86 machine. We got that car dialed in for the 100-lap race on Saturday. Dakota Mellor had a good showing coming home with a solid top ten effort. Also, Saturday morning we decided to double-enter the #86 so it could also run the 50-lap Pro-4 race. This would allow Colton Brown to still get to race after the circumstances with his car. He also had a good showing bringing home a top-5 while learning a lot about the track.
The MB Motorsports crew will regroup for 2026. Beginning with the annual New Years Bash at Dillon Motor Speedway. This race weekend will be January 2-4. All three cars are still looking for partners for 2026. Reach out to us for more information!
Thank you to our sponsors! Without them none of this would ever be possible!

CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT RECAP
Welp, this weekend the Bowman Gray season wrapped up. After 15 weeks of fighting it all came down to one fifteen lap shootout to end it all. The #46 came in with a long shot chance at rookie of the year, but we weren't going to let that stop us from fighting. Saturday night, just like the rest of the year, the draw proved to be unlucky with Colton drawing a 16 from the bag. From the drop of the green flag we were moving forward and found ourselves in 11th with 2 laps to go. Then in an attempt to avoid a car in turn 3, Colton moved up the track and hit the marbles and spun out. After the green, white, checkered finish we ended up P15 out of 18.
The 86 drew an 8 out of the bag and was looking to improve that position a little bit. In usual Bowman Gray style he got hung out on the outside and fell back to around 14th where he finished the race.
The #46 finished 13th in points, while the #86 finished just behind him in 14th. While not getting the rookie of the year, we still believe that our team showed a lot of promise in our youth. We aren't done for the year yet! Keep close tabs on this page for updates and race dates for the future.
Thank you to all of our sponsors for supporting us this season! Thank you to everyone in the pits willing to lend a helping hand with our cars this season! Thanks to all fans who came out to the madhouse to allow us to race this season! See you at the track!
