NEW SCHOOL TIMES FOR 2026–2027!

Sweeny ISD will be adjusting campus start and dismissal times for the upcoming school year:

Elementary: 8:05 a.m. - 3:40 p.m.
Secondary (Grades 6–12): 8:00 a.m. - 3:35 p.m.

Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. for all campuses. These adjustments will help support transportation and after-school activities across the district.

First day of School is Wednesday, August 12th.

SISD Families,
If your student will need bus transportation for the upcoming school year, please complete the Transportation Request Form as soon as possible. This helps us plan routes, assign buses, and ensure everything is ready for the first day of school.

Please remember that a new Transportation Request Form must be submitted each school year.

A few days before the first day of school, our Transportation Department will contact families to confirm routes and pick-up/drop-off times.
