“When will my website rank on Google?!”

This is a question I see and have gotten more times than I can count. And rightfully so, there’s so much *glitz & glam* around ranking on Google.

(and if you’ve ever asked that question—no shame, it’s incredibly common!)

One key thing to know about SEO is that websites don’t rank on Google, the PAGES of a website rank on Google.

So let’s rephrase that oh-so-common question…

“When will the PAGES of my website rank on Google?!”

Well…you may not like the answer. But I’ll tell you anyway…

It depends.

(I told you it was a terrible answer. I hate saying it as much as you hate hearing it)

There are SO many factors that play into how quickly a page of your site will rank on Google. In fact, Google has over 200 ranking factors that it considers!

So if pages rank, you can start to piece together that having more pages on your website will give you more opportunities to rank on Google…

But absolutely do not just haphazardly add pages to your site solely for the purpose of trying to rank on Google.

So how do you add more pages strategically?
