First run of the new year was a good one….tough but was a really pleasant morning. Reconfirmed my dislike of road running but it was better than nothing!! Added a post run dunk in Biscayne Bay to cool off too!!! thanks for blocking the sun!?!? thanks for organizing!

Been a while but on a whim went for my first real run in Miami this afternoon…..slow 40 minute slog along South Beach!! Pretty sure I got a compliment on my hat too, so bonus points for that!!!

The 2024 Reluctant Runner Racing race series is in the books! Thanks to all racers, volunteers, supporters, venues, and suppliers for another incredible year of trail running and being part of the trail community.

But there is no rest for the wicked (read: race directors). We know this is the time of year many runners start thinking about goal races for next year, and we'd be honored to be part of your 2025 race plans.

Spring race registration opens the week of Thanksgiving at the lowest price for one week ONLY. Fall race registration opens the week between Christmas and New Years with the same lowest prices for a short time only!
