LEAD RECALL ALERT – The Darice “Timeless Minis” miniature wagons, chairs, and watering cans have been recalled due to the toys having high lead levels, posing a possible health risk. Consumers who purchased this product are advised to keep the toys away from their children and dispose of them. The entity that imported these products, Darice, Inc. of Strongsville, OH is no longer in business. The toys were sold by online retailers, including Amazon, through 2016 and resold by various third-party sellers and on other websites through April 2026. Report any incidents involving injury or product defects to CPSC at www.saferproducts.gov.

If your child has been in contact with this product, consider having them tested for an elevated blood lead level. Children are particularly vulnerable to lead poisoning, which can cause permanent damage to the nervous system. This can result in learning disorders, developmental delays, and other long-term health problems.

For more information about blood lead testing, contact your child’s healthcare provider. If your child does not have a healthcare provider or if you have other questions, contact us at [email protected] or call (315) 435-3271.

Lead can affect how children learn and grow and may cause developmental delays.
Exposure to lead can make it harder for a child to:
• Learn in school
• Talk and use words
• Pay attention
• Grow and develop normally

There is no safe blood lead level in children. Even small amounts of lead can affect your child’s growth and development! Preventing lead exposure is important to protect your family. The only way to know if your child has been exposed to lead is through a blood test. Talk to your doctor and ask for a test today!

Free developmental screening is available to help parents identify whether their child is at risk for delays or may need additional assessment https://www.ecaonondaga.org/screening-supports
