Wilder Compound

Check out the short film made by WILDER Compound workshop/Syracuse students Augie and Spencer! A great look at all the fun self-reliance skill-building endeavors students took on this past spring - share with people you know who want hands-on projects to confront climate change!

Last week WILDER Compound workshop people got their hands dirty making mud bricks in preparation for the earth oven, planting seedlings to sprout and plant in the dome, and making a quick oven out of a terra cotta planter. We made beer bread! Almost!

We are building one of these beauties next week! There will be a pre-installation assembly on SU campus on the quad this WEDNESDAY 4/2 and we need volunteers to come help put it together starting at 11am. It's going to be rad so sign up! Email me if you can come [email protected]

SU students: some travel tips for tomorrow's workshop if you're taking the bus:

The 10:32 AM bus from College Place will get you there on time. The 601 Tully stop is #11 / point of interest on this map.

Please don't miss the bus – the next one isn't for another hour and a half! (Make sure you look at the weekend schedule.)
