CNY Bricks

Sorry no updates lately, things have been absolutely crazy... Have no fear, regular Lego postings shall continue soon! 👍

Still got a little ways to go, but Marvel Super Heros ATM Heist Battle 76082 is nearing completion... Minus motorcycle and mini-figs :)

Most of the parts are here, but looking like the truck that goes along with this is missing a bunch of pieces.

Ohhh, I think I'll be working on putting together Jurassic World Carnotaurus Gyrosphere Escape 75929 tonight after work. Already see some missing bits but at least can see how much is missing!

The Rexcelsior is completeish... Missing one of the big grey wheels in the back that make up the engines, and just a single handful of pieces along with the mini-figs, the sticker sheet... But she's complete! Woot!

Progress shot... Coming along great but absolutely dreading what's to come. Since I'm scavenging parts from a bin and not working with just the ships pieces, I think there's a fatal flaw in the section with the red brick you can see on the side. This is sort of buried and to get back to it is going to require a bunch of removal, I'll be taking a look at it on my break in a few minutes. It's a little black nub that holds the dark blue rounded panels on, I used a wrong nub and the dark blue piece doesn't click in to place as it should. Not disastrous, maybe 5 mins to get it back out and correct one in.

This build is so neat and being the first to open up the bags was nice! Just missing a $9 sticker sheet and mini-figs, but this one will definitely be making it back out in to kids hands! Crazy to think I'll be unassembling it all just for someone else to rebuild... But hey, building it is the fun part ya can't just hand a kid a completed set!!!

After a ridiculous end to my work day due to non-work related things, I decided to tackle a "big" project to relax myself, the 1826 piece The Rexcelsior 70839! She's not done just yet but I'm super excited for this one. There are even unopened bags that go along with this one, so it never got completed to begin with... And I could be wrong, but she's looking like it will be COMPLETE (minus mini-figs) -- soooooo cool!

GRAND FINALE OF THE NIGHT... Indoraptor Rampage at Lockwood Estate 75930, 1019 pieces and almost complete!!! Had to make a minor styling change to the roofline and a few minor details which will get corrected before it goes out - but I wanted to build this one rather than just snag the needed pieces because it's got lots of neat little details. Missing the motorcycle, mini-figs, dinosaurs and just a few pieces... Super cool!

Absolutely CRUISING today! Kryptonite Interception 76045 bagged up and missing less than 20% of the parts incl. Mini-figs - definitely close enough to keep this fun Super Heros set together!

Doc Ock Truck Heist 76015 & Beware the Vulture 76083 identified but basically missing all but a handful of pieces, so these ones won't get built... For now! But at least we can set these aside and wait for more Marvel Super Heroes bulk to come in and we'll keep adding to them until they're complete. Or, we'll figure out how to use what we do have on some "new" ideas! That's the beauty of Lego, it shows us how to use your imagination to create something different.
