Upstate alumnus Willie Underwood III has been sworn in as the 181st president of the American Medical Association. Underwood earned his medical degree from Upstate in 1994.
Upstate alumnus is now president of the American Medical Association | Upstate News | SUNY Upstate Willie Underwood, MD, was honored by Upstate’s Medical Alumni Foundation with the Outstanding Young Alumnus Award in 2009 in recognition of his research on healthcare disparities and his work in health care policy.
