Hi I’m Jenny, and I used to love shopping at big stores. But 2025 changed me. I still shop but no more overconsumption or plastic clothing! Why pay more?

I can’t stand idly by while I have this platform. It was built on the concept of shopping at Target which we all loved and had so much fun. Now there have been changes with how Target does business that I cannot agree with. Target has gotten rid of its DEI program. Changes can happen at a company, but this change came from external pressure not from reevaluation of the business. Target getting rid of its DEI program along with many other companies. getting rid of their programs signals to the American public that companies no longer care about women, LBGTQ and minorities. I can’t support that. I’ll keep my name for now, but am shifting where my content comes from.

I will be posting about shopping but DEI friendly places. I also have recently come to appreciate natural fibers instead of polyesters and nylon. I’ve been on a crusade to replace all the sweaters and clothes in my closet with natural fibers. I’ve bought some second hand and some from stores that sell natural fibers. Let me tell you wool and cashmere sweaters are warm. And lambs wool is less itchy than regular wool.

I hope you’ll still follow along. I love all of you. Thank you for the support over the years. Please leave your fav DEI friendly places to shop in the comments. Costco and Old Navy are the only two I know of right now.
