My pick this week for Throwback Thursday is this amazing Antique Barley twist spindle platform rocker. Per Specialist Woodturners: “Also known as Solomonic or rope turnings these wooden spindles resemble sticks of twisted barley sugar candy. Originating in 17th century Europe this style saw a massive resurgence during the Victorian and Rococo Revival periods of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.” This one is in exceptional condition and the appropriate vintage fabric is in very good condition.
