UPDATED INFORMATION: Mr. Alahmad has returned home safely.

The DeWitt Police Department is looking for the community's assistance in locating a missing person, Muheeb Alahmad, 22 of DeWitt.

Muheeb was last seen on 11/20/2025 at 12:00pm, getting dropped off by a family member at the Westside Learning Center on Gifford St. in Syracuse. At 8:00pm that same day, when a family member went to pick him up at the Center, Muheeb was not there, and has not been seen since.

It was reported by family that Muheeb had left his wallet and cell phone at home that day.

Muheeb was last seen wearing a white jacket and black/camo pants.

There is no indication that Muheeb is in danger, but police would like to verify his whereabouts and well-being.

If anyone knows of Muheeb's whereabouts, they are encouraged to call 911 to report his location. Any other not in progress information regarding Muheeb can be sent to [email protected].

The Syracuse Police Department is asking for the public’s help in the search for 36-year-old Merissa Darrow.

Darrow is described as being around five feet, four inches tall, weighing approximately 220 pounds. She was last seen around 8 a.m. on Saturday, November 22nd, in the 200 block of East Onondaga Street, wearing a green, thigh-length hooded jacket and patterned black leggings. Darrow may be in need of medical attention, and has limited vision.
