When Alisa lost a family member at the start of the year, the last thing she should have had to worry about was her paycheck. She noticed bereavement leave was shorted and asked about it but management insisted it was calculated correctly.

Months later, when she had time to breathe, she mentioned it to her rep. Together they pushed back and received the $340 Alisa was owed.

After months of bargaining, THG management has made little to no meaningful progress toward reaching a fair first contract. Today, our community sent a clear message: Tacoma stands with workers.

Supporters, union members, and community allies came together to stand alongside THG workers as they continue fighting for the wages, benefits, scheduling, and workplace protections they deserve.

Rather than respecting workers exercising their legally protected rights, management chose to monitor and intimidate workers throughout the community action. That only reinforces why these workers are fighting for a strong first contract.

The message to management is simple: STOP STALLING. START BARGAINING.
