The Garfield Center Building as been the heart of historic Parkland, Washington since 1948, on the corner of Garfield and ‘C’ Streets north of Tacoma.

10-02-22 A pleasant evening was had behind 406-10 Garfield Street in remembrance of Tom Payne who lived across the street in the Garfield Center Building from 2007-17. His office was 410 Garfield where he died on October 1, 2017. Photo is of his grandson by the huge head of Tom painted in the of the 406-410 building.

Saturday October 1st at 7pm there will be a gathering of friends of Tom Payne behind his old office at 410 Garfield Street. All are welcome!
