Earlier this month, we announced our giveaway with Mattice Beauty Supply and now we get to take a moment to tell you more about the incredible local business.

Mattice Beauty Supply has been serving the Tacoma community for more than a decade and the community felt a huge loss when Mattice passed away. We are so happy to say the shop is re-opening under new ownership, continuing its legacy as a Black-owned, woman-owned business. Davida, the new owner, is dedicated to celebrating, empowering, and serving her community.

The FIFA World Cup™️ has brought the excitement close to home this year with Seattle as a host city!! The excitement has been so fun to watch. 48 teams. 104 matches. One trophy.

Seattle has gone all out as a host city, including converting a boat into a soccer field for viewing. Another exciting part this year has been the Puyallup Tribe of Indians Legacy sponsorship of the event. Check out their page for more details. We think it is beautiful getting to see our communities represented on a global level.
