Every shop needs a reliable shop truck, so it was time to build a new shop truck. Whether we’re running parts to the powder coater or picking up fresh rubber from the tire shop, this NBS GMC is going to do it in style.

We just finished dialing in the stance with a serious suspension overhaul:

The Setup:

Front: 4” drop using their premium upper and lower control arms (featuring fully greaseable zerk fittings, new bushings, and ball joints) paired with 1” lowering springs and Street Performance shocks.

Rear: 6” axle flip kit, bolt-on C-notch, and matching Street Performance shocks.

Maintenance: Fresh wheel bearings on both sides to ensure everything rolls smoothly.

The Interior & Audio Modernization:

CarPlay head unit with a custom-mounted USB port.
Tailgate handle backup camera integration.

Full front and rear door speaker upgrade by .

Now that the foundation is locked in, it’s time for the fun part. We are finalizing the fitment and wrapping a set of Ventura 6 wheels. Wheels were also ceramic coated.

A couple of weeks ago, this 2021 Acura TLX was booked in for a coilover installation. The client had initially sourced a used set, but upon our pre-installation inspection, we discovered the front assemblies were completely seized and unadjustable.

Rather than cutting corners or installing a compromised product, we consulted with the client, handed back the keys, and sourced a brand-new set of BC Racing Coilovers shipped directly to the shop.

Fast forward to today: installation is complete, and this TLX is dialed in with the perfect stance, daily drivability, and full adjustability. 📐✨
