Today, we are celebrating with Archibald, now known as Cheetah Moon, who was adopted in March 2025! 😸

Earlier this year, Cheetah Moon’s family celebrated a very special milestone—his third trip around the sun and his first birthday with them! 🎉

Before we go any further, his mom has one important clarification to make: despite the multiple daily debates between her and her daughter over whose kitty he is, we wanted to clarify for the record... Mom is his mommy! 😂

We are thrilled to report that Cheetah Moon is happy and living his absolute best life with his beloved partner, Sparkle. His favorite hobbies include Sparkle, Sparkle, and—of course—more Sparkle. When he’s not busy tending to her, he can usually be found perched high atop his cat tower, carefully observing Sparkle from above.

Cheetah Moon also enjoys chirping back and forth with the birds outside the front door and windows. His family recently got him an indoor toy bird, which has provided hours of entertainment—not just for him, but for everyone in the house!

He shares a particularly sweet bond with his human sister, often snuggling with her and keeping her company while she gets ready for school each morning. In fact, she recently gave a show-and-tell presentation about her cats, adoption, and the power of love—a beautiful testament to the impact Cheetah Moon has had on her life.

His mom says he has become "such a little butterball" and simply cannot imagine life without him. Watching his transformation has been incredible. So many people who knew him before have witnessed his journey and are amazed by how far he has come.

Stories like Cheetah Moon’s remind us why rescue matters. With patience, care, and love, he has blossomed into a happy, healthy, deeply loved family member—and we couldn't be more grateful for this wonderful update. 💚🐾

We are celebrating this week with Edward (now Goose) and Emmett (now Mouse), who were adopted together in October 2025!

The brothers are still the very best of friends and remain enthusiastic partners in crime. Goose has grown into quite the adventurer and can usually be found climbing to the highest spot he can reach. His adopter describes him as the supervisor of the apartment—no matter what's happening, Goose is right in the middle of it, carefully overseeing all activities and making sure everything meets his standards.

Mouse, who has also previously gone by Beaver before finally settling on his current name, is the perfect complement to his brother's adventurous spirit. He is the calmest, chillest cat around and is always happy to relax and lounge nearby. While Goose is busy supervising, Mouse is content to take life one cozy nap at a time.

Despite their different personalities, the two share plenty of favorite activities. They are both obsessed with sitting by the window, watching the world go by, and carrying on lengthy conversations with the birds outside. They also love playing together and are rarely far from one another.

Their adopter says they are the cutest and happiest kitties, constantly purring and always ready for fun. We couldn't be happier to hear that these bonded brothers are thriving together and bringing so much joy to their family!

Happy with Daphne, now known as Peaches, who was adopted almost two years ago in August 2024! 😸

According to her adopter, Peaches is a chatty, playful girl who completely loses the shared orange brain cell whenever feathers, string, or hair ties are involved. She takes her self-appointed role as laundry assistant very seriously—although "helping" usually looks a lot more like enthusiastically interfering with every step of the process.

Peaches is a true girl's girl, but she also loves wrestling and chasing her feline big brother around the house. When the excitement is over, she's all about the cozy life. Nap time is one of her favorite activities, especially when it involves snuggling up with her person. Soft, fluffy blankets, forts, and cozy hideaways are always guaranteed to earn her approval.

One thing everyone in the household knows: do not get between Peaches and her Churu treats!

Her adopter also discovered an unexpected talent—Peaches is apparently a guard cat. She keeps a close eye on the perimeter and isn't afraid to growl when unfamiliar visitors arrive, making sure everyone knows she's on the job.

Peaches has been a wonderful addition to her family, and we couldn't be happier to see this sweet, quirky girl so loved and living her best life! 💚🐾

Our director, Sam, is celebrating with plenty of cuddles from Goose—who just happens to be looking for a forever home. If you're ready for daily hugs, purrs, and a loyal sidekick, Goose is ready to meet you. 🐾

Now known as Iris, this sweet kitty is full of joy! She loves to play, but when she's not chasing toys, you'll find her curled up in her mom's lap, cozy in her bed, or perched in her favorite window watching the world go by.

Iris is a big fan of her morning Churus and won't let you forget them! She's quite the traveler and has already explored several states. A true nature girl, she loves birdwatching and spending time taking in the sights outside her window.

Iris is a Velcro kitty through and through—she loves people and always wants to be close to her family. Her favorite activities include zooming through her tiger tunnel, wrestling with big fluffy toys, playing fetch, and anything attached to a wand toy.

One of the funniest things about Iris is that she loves being in charge and acting like the head of the household, yet she's still working on fully finding her voice!

We are so incredibly happy for Iris and her mom and love seeing how much they adore each other! 😸💚

Happy with Lincoln, now known as Bat! 🦇

Bat, our little black kitten, was adopted in July 2025. Not long after he went home, he faced some major health scares. He showed us just how strong he is, overcame every hurdle, and is now a happy, healthy one-year-old!

These days, Bat spends his time playing with tinfoil balls, cuddling, suckling on fingers, and making sure he's involved in absolutely everything. He's completely obsessed with chicken, is a total food gremlin, and will happily let everyone know when he thinks it's mealtime.

Bat is incredibly friendly, has an opinion about everything, and screams constantly just to make sure he's heard. He loves sunbathing on the balcony, watching the world go by from the car window, and chatting with anyone who will listen.

Right now, he's deep in his teenage phase—equal parts drama king and adorable menace. But watching him grow into his personality has been such a joy. He truly has the best temperament and has blossomed into such a confident, loving cat.

We couldn't be more thankful that little Bat hit the jackpot with his mom! 😸💚

Please welcome back sweet Nova 💚

Nova was recently returned to us alongside her brother, Goose, after being adopted about 2.5 years ago. While the transition has been hard on her, Nova is slowly settling back in and reminding us what a gentle, special soul she is.

Nova is the definition of quiet love. She’s timid at first and prefers affection on her own terms, but once she trusts you, her sweet personality shines through in the softest ways. She loves being near her people — close enough to keep you company, but usually not quite touching. Every now and then, though, she’ll decide you’ve earned the honor of her curling up across your lap for attention. 🥹

This beautiful girl is also an expert bird watcher and could happily spend hours perched by a window, chattering quietly at the world outside. And if Nova loves you? Prepare to be groomed. She is absolutely obsessed with grooming herself, her brother Goose, and any human body part she can reach if you sit still long enough. It’s one of her favorite ways to show affection.

Nova isn’t a fan of being held, and she’ll need a patient adopter who understands that love from shy cats can look a little different. But for the person willing to let her bloom at her own pace, Nova has so much quiet companionship and trust to give.

After losing the home she thought was forever, Nova deserves a family that will give her the stability, patience, and love she needs for the rest of her life. 🐾

Please welcome back one of our fan favorites… Goose! 💚

If Goose looks familiar, it’s because this sweet boy was adopted about 2.5 years ago and recently returned to us alongside his sister, Nova. While his journey hasn’t been easy, Goose has remained the same loving, happy cat everyone fell in love with the first time around — and now he’s ready to find the forever home he truly deserves.

Goose is the definition of affectionate. He’s full of loud purrs, squeaky little meows, belly rub requests, and endless love. He absolutely adores people and wants nothing more than to be close to his humans at all times. He even likes being held like a baby or gently slung over your shoulder like a limp noodle. 🥹

This goofy boy also loves to play! Goose is obsessed with chasing toy mice around the house, and he’ll proudly bring one to bed with you every night like a tiny gift. He’s wonderful with other cats and even dogs, and despite everything he’s been through, he continues to greet everyone with sweetness, trust, and so much personality.

Goose recently underwent surgery for a urinary blockage, but he is now healthy, happy, and living life completely normally. To help keep him feeling his best, he simply needs to stay on a urinary-health diet, which costs about the same as most quality cat foods.

Because Goose means so much to us, we’re determined to make sure his next home is truly forever. We know the perfect family is out there for this incredibly special boy — someone who will cherish his cuddles, laugh at his silly habits, and love him for the amazing cat he is. 😸🐾

Paige has been adopted! 😸

We are so excited for little Paige, who was trapped from a feral colony, to officially be living the good life with her new mom. Paige is already so loved, and we are so happy she found her furever! 💚🐾

We are incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received since our recent fundraiser for our TNVR efforts. Thanks to all of you, we’ve raised $653 so far! 💚 Every penny will go toward life-saving care for our community cats, including spay/neuter surgeries, ear tipping, vaccinations, and any additional medical care needed to keep them healthy and safe.
