It pains me to do this, but due to my current medical status, I am needing to immediately and drastically reduce my work schedule.
I love my job so much. I have been consistently dancing through 9-10 hour work shifts 6 days a week very happily for the last year, not realizing how much stress I was putting on my heart until it started showing signs of serious distress.
If I want to keep working (which I really do!!) I had to agree to some new “hard line” conditions that I may not bend from for the sake of my health and wellness.
I am still chiseling out the finer details but
**I will only be piercing THREE(3) days a week.
*I will be in studio an additional day to assist with changes/consults/check-ups/troubleshooting/etc// but will not be piercing that day.
*My assistant is going to start handling the majority of my incoming DMs, bookings, emails, etc. ((but I will absolutely still be at grab’s access anytime anyone wants to chat with me directly/personally!)) —There will also be some smaller amendments that my personal assistant will mention if necessary when booking appointments.
...I would like to believe that when things settle down a bit I will be able to relax the new amendments, but for now I need to accept this as my new normal…
I love and appreciate you all more than there are words for. The amount of care and concern I’ve been shown has been soul-touching and I’m humbled by the love and support you gift me with. I am going to continue working to the best of my ability, while also focusing on my well-being so please please please keep reaching out and continuing to schedule, just also please be patient and understanding that I’m in a new adjustment period that may come with possible kinks.
