🦅 One week down… and what a ride it’s been. 🌍✈️

We’re officially 1 week into our 20-day adventure, and while we may be off-duty, the memories are working overtime.

From wandering the streets of Barcelona at sunrise, to soaking in the coastal charm of Tossa de Mar… this trip has already been one for the books. Castle views, ocean air, and a little bit of “let’s figure it out as we go” mixed in for good measure.

We’ve explored historic spots like Castillo de Tossa de Mar, Caminito Del Rey, and fully embraced that slower, European pace (yes… even if that means sleeping in and pivoting plans 😅).

And now? We’re cruising through the Mediterranean, taking it all in before heading back stateside.

While we’re away, we’re still checking messages when we can, especially via email (Wi-Fi life!). If you’re under contract and can wait, we’d love to get you scheduled as soon as we’re back.

📅 We’ll be back to inspections starting April 11th and ready to hit the ground running.

🏡 Mold & Indoor Air Quality Testing: What’s Lurking in Your Air?

When most people think about protecting their home, they picture a strong roof, sturdy walls, or a good lock on the door. But what about the air inside? One of the biggest hidden threats to both your home and your health is mold.

🔬 What Exactly Is Mold & Indoor Air Quality Testing?

This isn’t just a “look around and see if anything looks fuzzy and green.” Mold can hide behind drywall, in crawlspaces, or circulate through your HVAC system without being visible. That’s why professional testing matters.

Here’s what our process looks like:
✅ Control Sample (outside): We start by testing the outdoor air to set a baseline.
✅ Indoor Air Sample: We compare what’s happening inside to see if spore levels are elevated.
✅ Air Handler Swab: We swab the air handler in your HVAC — the “lungs of your home” — to check if spores are traveling through your system.

All three samples are sent to Pro-Lab, an accredited environmental testing facility. They return a detailed diagnostic report so you know exactly what’s in your air.

😷 Why Does Mold Matter?

Mold doesn’t just look bad — it can cause serious problems.
• Health impacts: Allergies, asthma, headaches, fatigue, and respiratory issues. (Kids, seniors, and those with weaker immune systems are at higher risk.)
• Home impacts: Mold damages drywall, flooring, HVAC systems, and even the structure of your house. What starts small can quickly turn into a costly repair.
