Heading back to school can be exciting — and overwhelming — for kids and families alike. Here are a few tips to help make the transition smoother:

✅ Start the Routine Early
Begin waking up, eating meals, and going to bed at school-year times before school starts. Predictability helps reduce anxiety!

✅ Use Visual Schedules
Help your child know what to expect each day with a visual routine. It builds independence and reduces uncertainty.

✅ Practice School Skills at Home
From opening lunch containers to raising your hand, practicing daily school tasks can build confidence before Day 1.

✅ Talk About Emotions
Help your child name and understand their feelings about going back to school.
