Getting a new musical project started with Shaun Sadree and James Presta feels amazing, much respect for each other's abilities, personalities, and even flaws, is a profoundly new and appreciated experience for me. We are just getting started on the first two tunes so far, stay tuned for updates as we progress!

Shaun sent me this encouragement, and I am all about it, exciting stuff and things, indeed!

Just a quick reminder as we are approaching the weekend that we will be tearing up some Florida stages with some great bands and buds this weekend, bring your asses out and let's get our Labor Day weekend celebration on!

I'm sorry to anyone else that I shot swimwear photography with, but this is absolutely the most smoldering set I ever shot, ever, period, full stop. I'm surprised that fire is not shooting out of giza's eyeballs or smoke rising from her body, as she is most definitely en fuego in this photo shoot!!😍

I've never considered myself to be all that great of a musician, so when people tell me that I am, I tell them there are 10-year-olds all over YouTube that would smoke me on technical ability all day long.

However, what I do pride myself on is putting every bit of my heart and soul into both my writing and my playing, and I would have to say that my proudest moments were the following three compliments that I received over the years:

1. Sister Kill Cycle performed a cover of Too Young to Fall in Love in our set list for a year or so and Sara Lee Lucas had mastered our CD and was in town for one of our shows. After our set, he sought me out and said that my performance was spot on and rock as f**k, lol.

2. When we played some shows with Bile in the early aughts, I gave their guitarist Dave Sussman a copy of my Self-Made Monster CD, not thinking much of it. When we ran into each other playing a show in New York months later, he said he loved the CD and listened to it all the time on the road.

3. While majoring in classical piano at St. Petersburg College, Oksana Kolesnikova, the preeminent piano student whose abilities surpassed many of the teachers, asked me how long I had been playing piano and, when I told her that I had only been playing for 1 1/4 years, she professed that I showed such ability that she could not believe it had been that short of a time that I had been playing.

Once again, this is not to brag because I don't believe that I am that great of a technical player, but compliments like these certainly helped to steel my resolve at times when I doubted myself and/or my abilities.

If anyone out there is doubting themselves, silence your inner critic, ignore the haters, and follow your heart and your passion and work as hard as you can to be the best you can at what it is that you love to do…
