The Bible literally tells you what S***m's sin was. Ezekiel 16:49: pride, excess of food, prosperous ease, and refusing to help the poor and needy. God's own prophet says S***m fell because comfortable people were cruel to the vulnerable.

Then centuries of preachers rewrote a story condemning the powerful into a weapon against gay people. Almost like the real lesson hit too close to home.
