We will be performing essential upgrades to our core network infrastructure. This will occur on 2/25/26, beginning at 12:00AM until 3:00AM. During this time, engineers will be upgrading critical circuits to improve network stability. You will experience intermittent to complete loss of service while network traffic stabilizes. Service should return to normal automatically once the maintenance is complete.

Date: Wednesday, February 25, 2026
Time: 12:00 AM to 3:00 AM (Midnight to 3:00 AM)
Expected Impact: Service Interruption

What to Expect:
While the maintenance window is scheduled for three hours, we do not expect your service to be down for the entire duration. No action is required on your part for the restoration of your service. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience as we make these necessary improvements to better serve you.

Dear KCI Customers,

KCI is currently experiencing intermittent internet connectivity and slower-than-normal speeds.

Due to a Vendor's Fiber break that has occurred between Ojo Caliente and Albuquerque.

Traffic is being redirected to redundant circuits; however, we will continue to experience these issues until the vendor's circuit is restored to normal functionality.

KCI is actively in contact with the vendor on this matter.

Tonight on July 31st, Kit Carson Internet will be conducting an internet outage from 1 AM to approximately 5 AM. During this maintenance, customers will experience a complete loss of internet service and cell service. Customers do not need to take any action for the restoration of their service. If your service does not return after the given time period, please reach out to our technical support staff at 575-758-4838, Option 3. The reason for the outage is KCI is upgrading critical electronic equipment. Thank you for your patience.
