The 2025 Pride season has come to an end and it’s time for OPEN CALLS for the 2026 Pride Season.

We’ve been at this for 6 years. We’ve had some amazing board members, committee chairs, and volunteers throughout the years. Each have contributed their skills, passions, talents, energy, time, and lots of emotions to supporting the local Taylor (and beyond) LGBTQ+ community & their allies, creating safe spaces, building bridges to resources, & celebrating our PRIDE. Each and every one has contributed to the success of Taylor Pride!
But it’s been a small & mighty group who has put in all of the work, made many sacrifices & poured from cups that often times ran dry…but they kept pouring.

Now more than ever, the LGBTQ+ needs people in the fight, helping with the heavy lifting & creating safe spaces that are dwindling!! We need members of the community, we need allies & we need YOU on the team!!

There are going to be big changes for the 2026 Pride season, in order to remain sustainable & to continue to serve our community. Your ideas and talents could be exactly what is needed to make this year a success!!

“NO” is sometimes just making room for a much better “YES”!

While the Mayor of Taylor declined to issue a Proclamation for Pride Day in Taylor, declined to listen to 1700 constituents voices, and declined our invitation to attend Taylor Pride Music & Arts Festival, we got something SO MUCH BETTER in return.

- A People’s Proclamation, FOR the people, BY the people! Signed & proclaimed by 100’s of beautiful citizens who have never needed another person to proclaim their existence!

- A resolution from the Texas House of Representatives issued by the office of State Representative John Bucy III, recognizing the contributions of the LGBTQ+ community & Taylor Pride organization and proclaiming Pride Day in Taylor, TX.

- Taylor Pride Day Proclamation issued by our headliner . Sealed with a 💋

- Tons of free media coverage, press & buzz about our festival, thanks to the mayor’s proclamation denial. We sure hope he made his handful of followers happy because he helped us gain 100’s of new followers and supporters from all over the state! We are so glad you are all here on this journey with us!
