The Ann Arbor Hands on Museum and Leslie Nature Center presents: Living Fossils! Join us Thursday, July 16th at 6:00PM to discover how ancient adaptations live on today!

Travel back millions of years to meet animals whose traits connect them to prehistoric life. Participants observe live animals up close while learning how adaptations and survival strategies have allowed these species to thrive through time.

Ages 5 and Up, registration required. Call the library at 734-287-4840 beginning Tuesday, July 2nd to register!

Join Downriver Igniting Youth and the Taylor Community Library in Heritage Park Pavilion A on July 15th from 5:00pm-7:00pm., for Karaoke at the Park! There will be free pizza, music, and fun. This event is open to all ages!

Join us for two Somatic Self Care Classes (Thursday, July 16 and Thursday, August 20 at 6p.m.) for a variety of practices to help bring our minds and bodies into alignment. Some practices may include, but are not limited to: Meditation, Reiki, Dance, Self-Massage, Grounding, Adrenal Twists, Drumming, Sound Bowls, Breathwork, or Chakra work. Yoga will be included in both classes and will be taught for all levels. The instructor will offer modifications for beginners, injuries, and advanced students.

Please bring your own yoga mat, (2) blankets, a water bottle, and a journal. If you need props such as yoga blocks, bolsters, or straps please bring those as well. There will be limited materials available for borrow on a first come basis.
